Abstract

The Liveable Communities conference in 2002 provided an opportunity to showcase my intent in poster and installation format as a novice Doctor of Creative Arts (DCA) in pursuance of research focussed on the vernacular adaptations and use of the 44 gallon drum. The pitch was well received and I gained valuable feedback in what shaped up to be a sizeable obsession for a period of time in my life.
